Coached, in a genuinely small group

Small-group training, not a fitness class.

Up to eight people, a coach who knows your name, and exercises adapted to what your body can do today. All the accountability of training with others, without being left to follow along from the back row.

Small Group Training

Still Personal.

There's something different about training with other people beside you. You work a little harder. You encourage each other. You have a laugh. And on those days when motivation is running low, there's usually someone there to give you the little push you need.

But we keep our groups small for a reason. With no more than 8 people in a session, you won't disappear into the crowd. Your coach still knows you, knows what you're working towards, and can adjust exercises to suit your body and your ability. You'll get proper coaching and plenty of attention, just with a few good people doing it alongside you.

And everyone is there for their own reason. One person might be training for a holiday. Someone else wants to keep playing golf, feel stronger, or simply keep up with life. You don't have to be the fittest in the room. You just have to turn up. We'll help with the rest, and you might even find yourself looking forward to training.

Small-group suits you if…

  • You train better with other people around.
  • You want coaching, not a room where nobody corrects you.
  • One-to-one is more than you need right now.
  • You've felt out of place in a big commercial gym.
  • You want the accountability of a regular time and a regular group.
  • You'd like the cost to be lower than private sessions.

Your first session is free

Pick a session. Come along. See what you think.

Your first Fit Vibes session is on us. Pick the time that suits you best and one of our trainers will call you with the first available date.

Our groups are deliberately small, with never more than eight people. That means your coach still knows what you're doing, can help with your technique and can change an exercise when something doesn't feel right. You're never just another person at the back of a class.

And don't worry about keeping up. You train at your level, not somebody else's. Most of the people you'll meet are 35+, everyone has different abilities, and nobody cares how much you can lift. It's friendly, relaxed and surprisingly good fun.

Small group, still personal

01 Capped at eight
Small enough that your coach sees every rep, and knows what you are working towards.
02 Scaled to you
The exercise and the weight are set for your ability, not the room's average.
03 Every age fits
Much of our membership is 35+. Nobody is trying to outlift anybody.
04 Lower cost
Coached training at a lower price than one-to-one sessions.

From our members

Best gym I've ever been to! Duran and Henk clearly love what they do, care for their clients and foster an inclusive, safe environment.
Vicky Jones Google
Top notch trainers who never disappoint. They specialise in over-40s but cater to all ages, with plenty of weights, machines and equipment.
Rod Google
Great personal trainers who know how to help people who have injuries or just want to improve their strength and fitness.

Questions about small-group

How many people are in a session?
Never more than eight. That is the cap, not a target.
Will I be able to keep up?
You're not meant to keep up with anyone. Exercises and weights are set to your ability, so people at very different levels train side by side.
Do I need experience?
None at all. Fit Vibes is built so a complete beginner and someone who has trained for years can work side by side, each on their own version of the exercise.
Is it cheaper than one-to-one?
Yes — you're sharing the coach's time, so the cost per session is lower.
Can I switch between group and one-to-one?
Plenty of members do both, or move between them as things change.
What if I've got an injury?
Tell us at the consultation. Exercises get adapted, and if something needs medical attention first we'll say so.
