MarionPT is a personal training studio in Warradale, South Australia. This page explains what personal information we collect through this website, why we collect it, and what we do with it.

The short version

• We advertise on Google, Facebook and Instagram. This website and our booking site use those companies’ advertising tags, which set cookies so we can tell whether an ad led to a booking. We do not run general analytics, and the tags do not tell us who you are.
• We only receive your details if you type them into a form and submit it.
• We use those details to reply to you. We do not sell them, and we do not send marketing you did not ask for.

What we collect, and when

If you book a small-group session

The booking form on our small-group training page asks for your name, email address, phone number, age, and which session you want.

We ask for your age because some sessions are not appropriate for under-16s, and because it helps us put you in a group that suits you.

This form deliberately does not ask about your health, injuries or medical conditions. That conversation happens in person, with you, in the studio. Please do not put health information into the form.

When you submit it, that information is sent by email to the studio and a confirmation is emailed to you. It is not stored in a database on this website — the form has nowhere to put it. The record that exists is the email in our inbox.

If you request a guide or download

Some of our articles offer a free guide. That form is provided by SuiteDash, our client management system, and is displayed on the page inside a frame. When you fill it in, your details go to SuiteDash rather than to this website, and are handled under their privacy terms as well as ours. We use them to send you the guide and, if you have agreed to it, the occasional email from us.

You can unsubscribe from those emails at any time using the link in the email, or by asking us.

If you book training through our booking system

Our booking links take you to bookmypt.com.au, which is MarionPT’s own booking site, so this policy covers it too. When you book, it asks for your name, email address and phone number, the session you want, and an optional note. We use them to manage your booking and to send your confirmation and reminders. Please do not put health information in the note; we would rather have that conversation in person.

The booking site carries the same advertising tags as this website (see Cookies below). When a booking is made, the tags tell Google and Meta that a booking happened. They do not send them your name, email address or phone number.

What we do not do

• We do not run general analytics, so we do not build a profile of what you read.
• We do not send your name, email address or phone number to Google or Meta.
• We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information to anybody.
• We do not collect health or medical information through this website.

Cookies

This website and bookmypt.com.au use advertising tags from Google (Google Ads) and Meta (Facebook and Instagram). If you arrive by clicking one of our ads, the tags set cookies that let Google and Meta tell us whether that click later turned into a booking. That is how we decide which ads are worth paying for. Google and Meta handle that information under their own privacy terms.

You can block or delete these cookies in your browser settings, and you can control the ads you see in your Google and Facebook ad settings. The website and booking site work normally either way.

Some pages link out to Google Maps, Facebook, Instagram and YouTube. If you click through to one of those, that company may set cookies in your browser under their own terms. Nothing loads from them unless you go there.

Who else can see your information

Only the people who need to:

• Our trainers, so we can reply to you and run your session.
• Resend, the service that delivers our emails.
• Cloudflare, which hosts this website and, like any web host, processes the request your browser makes.
• SuiteDash, if you filled in one of their forms.
• Google and Meta, through the advertising tags described under Cookies, which tell them when a visit or booking came from one of our ads.

We do not send your details anywhere else.

How long we keep it

Enquiries stay in our email for as long as they are useful, and are deleted when they are not. If you become a client, we keep your contact details for as long as you train with us and for a reasonable period afterwards, because we may need them for legitimate business reasons such as accounts.

If you would like us to delete your details sooner, ask us and we will.

Seeing, correcting or deleting what we hold

You can ask us at any time to:

• tell you what personal information we hold about you
• correct it if it is wrong
• delete it

Email trainers@marionpt.com or call 0405 300 925. We will not charge you for it, and we will not make it difficult.

Keeping it secure

This website is served over HTTPS, so what you type into a form is encrypted in transit. Form submissions arrive as email and are held in our business email account, which is password-protected.

No system is perfectly secure, and we will not pretend otherwise. What we can promise is that we collect as little as possible in the first place, which is the most effective protection there is.

Children

This website is aimed at adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children without a parent or guardian involved. If you are under 16 and want to train with us, please have a parent or guardian make the enquiry.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle your information — for example, if we ever add analytics — we will update this page and change the date at the top.
